Grace Budoloski

Grace Budoloski, soprano – Winnipeg (MB) 

Praised for her “crystal clear soprano” and “effortless coloratura” (Opera Canada), soprano Grace Budoloski made her Manitoba Opera debut as Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, where she was hailed as “a singer to watch” (Winnipeg Free Press). A finalist in the WMC McLellan Competition, she also performed Countess Adèle in Le Comte Ory with Manitoba Underground Opera. In her first season with l’Atelier lyrique, she will sing the soprano solo in Mozart’s Requiem with L’Orchestre de l’Agora, workshop the title role in A Prayer for Owen Meany, cover Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier, perform Mélisse in Atys, and sing the Paggio while covering Gilda in Rigoletto. Grace holds a Master of Music from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma from the University of Manitoba. A recipient of Pacific Opera Victoria’s Annamaria Bamji Award, she has also appeared as soloist in Zelenka’s Miserere Mass.
