Welcome to the website operademontreal.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”). The services offered on this Site are provided by the Opéra de Montréal (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), which operates and manages the Site, subject to the Terms of Use outlined below (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”), which also include this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”).
The domain name of the Site, operademontreal.com, is the exclusive property of the Company, which retains perpetual ownership and exclusive rights.
The Site includes services, text, written content, data, images, graphics, photographs, audio and video clips, and other elements, including software, source code, computer programs, and databases enabling the proper functioning of the Site (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Content”), which are provided to you in order to deliver the services available on the Site.

The Company is committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of any personal information you provide or transmit through the booking or purchase of tickets to shows or events, donations, or through other points of contact (including telephone or email exchanges with our customer service or Philanthropy team). The Company acknowledges and declares that all documents and personal information submitted by a user remain, at all times, the sole property of that user.
To best protect your personal data and privacy, any information collected by the Company is stored securely and treated confidentially.
The Company collects, uses, and discloses your personal information only with your consent. Express consent is requested before sending you offers or information from the Company and/or third-party event providers. By providing your personal information and completing a transaction with the Company, you consent to the collection and use of your data for these specified purposes.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
As a resident company of the Place des Arts, the Company uses the services of Ticketmaster, a third party, to manage all ticketing transactions. Through Ticketmaster, the Company receives your personal information via the Archtics ticketing system. When booking or purchasing tickets—online, by phone, or in person—some personal data is stored in a client account shared between the Company, the Place des Arts, and its other resident companies (Compagnie Jean Duceppe, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and L’Orchestre Métropolitain), to facilitate the management of your future ticket purchases, related services, and donations. These organizations have implemented measures to protect the confidentiality of your data and your transaction history.

If you submit personal information to rh@operademontreal.com as part of a job application, that data will be used for assessing and following up on your application. We may retain it for a certain period in order to consider you for current or future opportunities. This data may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., recruitment agencies) contracted to manage applications.
The Company will use or disclose your personal data solely for the purposes for which it was collected, unless you consent to another use or disclosure, or unless permitted or required by law.
