“ The Atelier lyrique was a fertile incubator for me. I was eager to learn everything, and I had access to it all. From administrative setbacks to philanthropy, show design, writing, composition, and of course the endless quest for beautiful singing. I fondly remember the long hours spent in the practice studios, rushing back and forth between coaching sessions and rehearsals, and the creative workshops I led in cultural mediation, where I was able to clarify my artistic approach. I remember the thousand and one dreams that were born there, and that no one mocked or discouraged. It was there that I wrote my first cycles of poems and my first melodies, and it was there that I found my singing teacher and my voice. I also remember the almost daily tears, the discouragement, the fear that on the other side of the construction site that my life seemed to be, there was only a bigger construction site. It was a crucial period in my development, and I will always be grateful to the support team who protected the time I needed to blossom. ”
“ My career is exactly what I always dreamed of. It’s almost dizzying to write that down. Just last year, I made my debut at La Scala right after singing with Charlebois and the OSM, I released an album and a show of original songs that I produced, I toured with the Filmharmonic Orchestra and the James Bond theme songs, and I learned the role of Cesare on the fly for the Capitole de Toulouse. This season begins with the launch of my first solo album dedicated to Handel with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra on the Arion label and will end with a premiere at the Bayerische Staatsoper. There are still tears and the feeling of perpetual construction, but above all, there is overwhelming gratitude for this exciting career. ”
