Once upon a time, there were two cheerful singers who wanted to tell the tale of Hansel and Gretel through music. One of their friends, who was very mischievous, tried to lend a hand, but the friend was so hungry, greedy, and easily distracted that he was always putting his foot in his mouth – or was it candy? The two singers tried to think of a way to keep his attention. “Aha,” they said, “What if we gave him an important role to play in the story?” Immerse yourself in the favourite fairy tale of candy lovers everywhere with this funny and fanciful concert. What better way to discover one of the sweetest art forms in the world – opera!
